New homes for Four Marks
We are pleased to announce that following a long battle with East Hampshire District Council, planning permission for nine dwellings has been granted at appeal on Land to the North of Station Approach, Four Marks.
The development has been named Watercress Mews, carefully chosen to incorporate the history of the village and the Watercress Railway Line which runs through its centre. The development will feature four three bedroom semi-detached homes and five two bedroom flats.
Designed to our renowned high specification both inside and out, the contemporary external appearance comprises a mix of brick and render with natural slate roof tiles. Inside the homes will be welcoming with spacious living and dining areas that are ideal for socialising, while upstairs the master bedroom will benefit from a luxurious en-suite. Ample parking is provided with two allocated parking spaces for each unit as well as additional visitor spaces.
Residents of these homes will have the advantage of living within a village with history and charm but will also have the benefit of contemporary living and the full array of local amenities nearby.
Darcliffe Homes was presented with a partial award of costs against East Hampshire District Council for their unreasonable behaviour in originally refusing the scheme. Construction work commenced in May and is expected to be completed in early 2018.
