Hinton Waldrist is a picturesque village and civil parish in the Vale of White Horse, Oxfordshire. Originally a market town, it is now a small village on a quiet lane that runs parallel with the A420 Oxford to Swindon Road.
Despite its attractive rural location, Hinton Waldrist is a well-connected village. It is positioned just 9 miles from Abingdon, 13 miles from the world famous City of Oxford and 19 miles from Swindon. The renowned Bicester Village designer outlet is only a 30 minute drive away.
Transport links include three bus operators running services through the village, while the nearest main train station is Oxford.
There is a great selection of schools in close proximity to the village. The John Blandy Primary School, Southmoor is 2.7 miles and the Longworth undenominational Primary school in neighbouring Longworth village 1.3 miles.
Excellent independent schools include Cokethorpe Independent School which is 4.8 miles away and Cothill House Independent School for boys is 5.5 miles away.
